My phone wouldn't charge S215G. I started using my deceased husband's identical phone. It was fine for a few days but now I'm locked out. He always used a pattern to get in but now it wants a passcode that I don't have

You can factory reset the phone, but you will need the credentials of the current Google and Samsung accounts to be able to log in.
