Galaxy S21Thanks for sharing this concern with us, JacRa. We get this question often, and there are a few variables that could affect if your texts can be retrieved or not. If you have a Samsung Cloud Backup set up, you can retrieve them from there.
The simplest way is to check your Recycle Bin. After 30 days the messages are deleted, but if it is within that time; You should be able to see the messages.
1. Open the Samsung Messages app.
2. Tap the three-dot menu (More options).
3. Select Trash or Recycle Bin.
4. Long-press the messages you want to recover and tap Restore.
For the Samsung Cloud Backup method:
1. Go to Settings > Accounts and backup.
2. Tap Restore data under Samsung Cloud.
3. Select your device, deselect all items except Messages, and tap Restore.
The only other thing I can think of is checking the notification history (if enabled). If the message was deleted after being received, you might find it under Settings > Notifications > Advanced settings > Notification history.
