Update is awful

This S21 5G update  is awful. And my phone has updated like 3 times already. Notification update pops up nonstop. Like didn't it just update...? Then, as soon as I turn my wifi on to use it at home instead of my mobile data. It goes through the process of updating again! UI mode. I don't like the new edit photos change either. Notification bar tab has changed. All my apps have moved around. And then, if I put my phone in dark mode. It doesn't look how it did before, still looks like it's in light mode, just a tad warmer, even if adjust brightness. Have to adjust all the way down, and you can barely see then.

What updates are you getting

Last update, which was last night. Had android version 15 and UI version 7.0. I will screenshot if another one comes in. But it only pops up when my wifi is on.

Your phone is catching up on updates you did not get.  Did you just obtain the phone?  You will keep getting updates until you reach the current security updates you are entitled to.  Android 15/OneUI7.0 is your last update for that phone.

What do you mean your apps are out of place?  Do you mean on your home screen or app drawer?  I think the app drawer changed to vertical scroll in OneUI7.0. If you want horizonal scroll (pages), you will have to tap the 3 dots in the search bar and choose custom sort, but then you will either have to arrange the apps alphabetically manually or in your own custom order - the ability to alphabetize horizontally did not come until 8.0, but it did come in Good Lock, so you might be able to download home up and sort alphabetically.  Dark mode should not have changed much from 6.1 to 7.0 - it should still be dark.

I found it, also read the Android security patch level that said June 1, 2025. Assuming that was the last security panel update? And I'm just trying to see instead of updating completely when it says update. Why would it be back to back updates. Guess what I'm saying, if it's catching up on updates. Wouldn't it update all the way through instead of when it's complete. Another notification window per update pops up. Phone turns off again during UI mode of course. But it's already after a previously one.

No, each update has to be layered upon the other, so one update has to complete, Including the reboot,  then the phone tells the server it's ready for the next one.  You may be entitled to some more security updates for 2025.  According to Google, the last one for the S25 was late 2025, which could mean September or December 2025 - I don't know.

In settings go to bottom about phone than system information it will show at top your ui and just down the google play services your on at the very bottom is the monthly update
