Galaxy S22Dear Samsung UX Design Team,
While recent One UI updates focus on visual aesthetics and smoothness, there are key areas where "form over function" is hindering the experience for long-time users. I would like to propose three specific changes to improve device responsiveness and accessibility:
- Integrated animation controls: Currently, users must unlock "Developer Options" to change animation speeds. This should be a standard, visible setting (perhaps within Display or the Quick Panel edit menu) so every user can choose their own rhythm without diving into hidden menus.
- Precise decimal scaling: Instead of fixed steps (0.5x, 1x), please implement a decimal slider. This would allow users to find their perfect spot (like 0.7x or 0.8x) for a balance between visuals and immediate speed.
- Non blocking gestures: Recent updates often ignore touch inputs while a menu animation is still in progress. UI transitions should be non-blocking, allowing users to chain gestures (like double-swiping down for Quick Settings) even while the panel is mid-motion.

Do you want granular control over animations without even turning on or using DO?
This can be achieved very easily by downloading Good Lock and the module HomeUp. You can go crazy .
They are first party apps developed by Samsung!
