I have enabled the “Hide content while screen is locked” setting in Secure Folder on my smartphone, and it works fine on the phone. However, when I receive notifications on my smartwatch, the content is still visible there. example: Whatsapp Messages,Calls etc
I have found when my watch is locked (not screen off, but actually locked), the notification detail will not show (that's usually the way I find out my watch has re-locked itself). Unfortunately, the only way to lock the watch while it's on you wrist is to either loosen it temporarily or stick an obstruction, like a piece of paper, between the back of the watch and your wrist. Who's grabbing your wrist anyway and reading your watch notifications? You can go to the wear app and notification settings for the watch and turn off "show details automatically" and "turn on screen when notifications received" in the advanced notification settings. You can also change your notification selection to smart device selection and the notifications won't come to your watch while you are using your phone.
