Sim manager issues

I recently traveled to California from Ireland with my phone. Purchased and esim before going. First two days here all working well until, my phone decided to tell me my sim cards where not working, neither esim or physical sim. 

I literally don't have access to anything in sim manager as it is all greyed out. A message keeps popping up about the sim card tray. I can't seem to find anything online to help. No new apps on the phone or anything like that. No changes. My boyfriend tried my sim in his phone (same phone as mine) and the same thing has now happened to his! No phones and we are on a road trip across the States 😩 we have tried all the usual stuff. I know the basics. Other than that. I'm stuck!

Boyfriend here, another thing we noticed is the speaker will play music for about 6 seconds and stop for 1 second, it is the speaker not the source stopping

Does your carrier cover international use? Most carriers require a separate plan or add on regardless what sim you use. You also need to make sure you have the correct charging adapter. Also did you change the time zone on your phone

I did all that and still doesn't work... I already checked everything

Hi, thanks for your reply. I was using an e-sim which was working fine for two days. Have the correct adapter too! It's all very frustrating !

Did you turn your original sim off? Or try resetting the network

Im not able to gwt into the sim manager, ill remove it and try only the esim

Same for both of us. Every option in sim manager is greyed out. Can't even try delete my esim. I tried taking out my own sim and using only esim, also didn't work
