Unfortunately for you, switching to Google Messages may be the only effective solution. I understand about the cool features with Samsung Messages, however Google Messages handles group messages very well.

Well, do you want a functional app or cool features?

I don't either. Pretty is a bonus, functional is best. For the brief period of time I used Samsung messages, I didn't find anything cool about it. Of course, it could just have been because I had already been using G messages for years. I thought maybe I didn't give it a fair chance, so I tried again. Still hated it. But, you know, if it was my only choice, I still would have learned to live with it

I was able to separate my chats into groups. I have 2 jobs so was able to have a tab for each job and the people from each job in their appropriate tab. This ment I could pin certain conversations in each individual tab. Each sperate message could then have different themes (background, font and bubble colors) if wanted, of course. Google messages can thumbs up a message and unfortunately changes the bubble for both party's *whippy* ๐Ÿฅณ ๐Ÿพ lol. Ill have to learn to live with it. Just why have a samsung phone that cant samsung message. I get a Google phone having it automatically.

You can change the colors of chat bubbles in Google messages for individual chats (so long as they are RCS chats).  It's not an extensive palette by any means, but varied enough to separate business from personal or separate jobs.  Google messages used to have tabs, I don't know why they discontinued them.  I disliked them because I had no use for them.  I prefer to see all my chats in a single window. I know how to scroll and search.  You can still pin particular chats to the top.

I saw the bubbles in which I thought oh cool so I made mine that green camo color then my wife was able to change it over to pink. So I just didnt like that its not just a for me feature. I just personally dont like when I have to scroll and scroll to message someone I havent in a while ( I dont delete a single text with the exception of 12345 numbers ) that I dont really need to pin so now I just make a new message in order to find them sooner, not bad just ehh.

There's a search function and an archive function. If you archive chats you don't interact with often, they are out of sight, but easily brought back to life.

What do you mean your wife was able to change it over to pink? On her phone, and it also changed it frim the color you set for her on yours? I was unaware others can see and change to colors I set. If they can, they must not object to mine because no one ever chaged or commented on them. The colors should only affect your app.

Google Messages has much cooler features than Samsung Messages. It also just works better with iPhones and group chats.
