Galaxy S23
Hello, Samsung Community.
I am really hoping someone in the Samsung S23 Ultra 5G Smartphone Community can help me with this very vexxing data backup problem.
My Galaxy S23 smartphone, is reaching the total storage limit. And I have installed the latest smartswitch software onto my computer, in a bid to purge the various data files from my S23.
I don't want to back up the S23 data files onto the main hard drive of the computer. I have 3 different Western Digital 'PASSPORT' external hard drives. Each of those drives, has 2TB of storage capability. And I also have a Samsung Micro SD memory card, that can hold 1TB of data. And last, but not least, I have a 128GB USB Memory stick.
Is there ANY WAY, for me to tell the Smart Switch software which of all of the EXTERNAL hard drives that are hooked up to my computer, to transfer the data that's STUFFED in my engorged Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra 5G Smartphone.
Hoping there's a solution to this problem.
Thanking the Samsung Community, in advance.
Respectfully Desperate...

Galaxy S23@WalterD You can always do the backup to your computer, then transfer the files from your computer to one of those external drives.
But... using Smart Switch to do the backup isn't really the best idea if you want to access that data later without doing a full restore to your phone.
