Every major smartphone manufacturer in the US now includes some form of integrated AI, and that is highly unlikely to change. In fact, agentic AI will be even more deeply integrated in Android 17.

If you want to actually affect change, you'll need to vote with your wallet.

Option A: Buy massive shares in the company so they have a fiduciary duty to you and you get to participate in shareholder voting.

Option B: Buy something like a Fairphone that can run Linux.

Option C: Get a Pixel and run GrapheneOS.
