I enjoy it; I feel like it's a nice color balance. However, I get what you mean about the battery life thing. I thought the same, so I set up a Routine on my phone to trigger at specific times of day. This mimizie the amount of time I use it, but still allows me to experience the feature. If you want to give that a try, to help with your battery life, try the steps below.
How to Set Up a Routine
1. Open Modes and Routines: Go to Settings > Modes and Routines and tap the Routines tab at the bottom.
2. Add a New Routine: Tap the "+" (plus) icon in the top right corner.
3. Set the "If" (Trigger):
1) By App: Select App opened and choose apps like Netflix, YouTube, or Gallery. This allows you to turn off the tone adjustment for better video/photo quality.
2) By Time: Select the time period if you only want it active during the day or at night.
4. Set the "Then" (Action):
1) Tap Add action, go to Display, and select Adaptive color tone.
2) Choose On or Off depending on your trigger.
5. Save: Name your routine and tap Done.
Be sure to click " โ Accept as Solution" when you find an answer that works for you.
