Galaxy S24 Users Report Battery Drain Issues

Hello Community Members. We understand the frustrations caused by the battery drain on your phones and have found a solution.  This is occurring on T-Mobile phones because of the mobile services app.  In order to remove the application, first open Settings, then open Apps, press the filter and sort icon to the right of Apps. Then turn on Show System Apps and search Mobile Services. Select the three dots to the right of mobile services, and then select Uninstall updates. You will need to select OK. After you have selected OK make sure to check the version it should be downgraded.

I’m using a Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, and since updating to One UI 8.5, I’ve noticed that my battery seems to drain much faster than before. Even with normal usage, the battery life doesn’t last as long as it used to prior to the update.

I have an s25 ultra and I actually noticed the opposite! My battery was working fantastic better than ever after the update but now since the security update recently it's draining faster than ever. I go on my phone in the morning for an hour and it goes down to 80%.

For Me the issue started after the security update in April but the upgrade to OneUI 8.5 did not change anything

IT's available in Canada, AND the US I believe, but check your phone's settings for the update

Has anyone else noticed their phone starting to overheat and drain more battery after the one ui 8.5 update? I tried switching back to the standard use profile and automatically noticed my phone starting to abnormally overheat. The same thing occurs when I optimize my apps using Good Guardian's App Optimizatioan.
