Since the 8.5 update I can't use co-pilot as my system default digital assistant AI. So I didn't download the update on my other phone so I don't lose it. How can we get it backHow can we get it back with the new update?

Galaxy S24Hello, Deezi, Thank you for reaching out to the Community. We understand how frustrating it can be when a new software update changes the way things work. We want to help.
When a device receives a major update - like the One UI update to version 8.5, it can reset certain settings back to the default. We would recommend reviewing this guide for more information on changing the digital assistant for your phone. https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS10001575/.
If the option for Copilot is not present in the Device Assistant app, we would recommend checking for an app update and clearing the app's cache. We found this guide which provides the steps for this. https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS10001372/.
Please note Copilot AI is a Microsoft product, and we would recommend reaching out to Microsoft support for any questions or concerns about the app.
Please let us know if this helps resolve the issue.
