Hello, this is a feature request if you didn't read the title. And before some of you come screaming at me, yes, I know bootloader unlocking is not available on carrier phones and has not been possible since One UI 8.0. It would be nice if there was an optional toggle to enable bootloader unlocking on Snapdragon US models and international models, even if on One UI 8.0. Without it, we don't have as much freedom. And before you talk about the carriers, I do not think it should be aloud... UNLESS: Your phone is paided off and your phone is no longer carrier locked.
And about the toggle thing, if this were to be added, you should add a 12 hour wait (if reverting after unlock the wait will not apply again) and there should be a popup saying something along the lines of: "By enabling this option, you accept the risks. If your phone gets stolen while bootloader unlocked, they CAN wipe all your data."
That is my request. I just think it would be a really nice feature, especially for those like me who love customization, and don't just want to only use icon packs and stuff and change things system-wide. And also for those who hate bloatware and such. Considering we don't have a lot of freedom currently, as Google will be making it harder to side load apps soon, this might be really nice. (And improve sales)
In some cases, yes, it can. For example, using root can allow you to install apps from other phones onto your current phone with magisk modules and such, you can also customize the boot animation and such. And, with a custom rom, you can customize the phone even further than what goodlock allows, and on a system level!

I had saved all my personal and important information through the rooting feature, and now, with the flash to this version S928BXXS6DZE1, it is no longer possible to unlock the bootloader.
