Google Messaging app issues

I'm really bothered that Samsung is doing away with their messaging app and going to Google. I stay away from all things Google and am wondering what app I will be using. Any idea why this is happening?

No, I don't CARE if they see any bubbles or not. I don't even care if Android users see any color bubbles. They probably don't, because I don't use any bubbly protocols.
And sorry to burst your bubble (blue or green) but E2E has no bearing on Google's ability to analyze your messages.

Even more amusing that the less one knows about adtech or Google's business, the more confident they are that only their opinions are correct...

I'm actually bummed to lose Samsung Messaging 😞 also. I honestly don't trust Google anything, but I don't like the IPhone. I'm 💯 Android, Samsung Galaxy smartphone! Yes, I do try not to use much of Google apps, but however, I still do.

Why did you create a new post, when there are about 50 other posts addressing this issue?  It's happening because Samsung wants it to happen. Period.

If you never used the app before, you should have read the site rules on the opening page of the app.  Also, there are so many posts on this subject, you don't even have to search to see if there's already one going on.  Just open one and add your thoughts.  It does bother me because no one needs to see 100 posts on the same subject cluttering up the feed preventing people with real issues from getting help.

That's not true actually. I have several conversations pinned in my Google messages.

The app allows up to 20 conversations .
