Software update glitch

Just a quick question cause not sure what it could be. My phone restarted after the newest June software update and went black for not even a second then came back on and is working normally. It didn't do it when I did the Google play system update. Just wanna know if it was a software glitch or if it's happened to anyone else at all. This is the first time the phone has done it but I know ui 8.5 is very new and could still have a few bugs in it

Which update did you get? If you got the monthly or the Google services update it's normal when you restart for the screen to be black for second or so before the app optimization screen appears

I always forget to hit reply. It was the June software update that I just did. The Google play update didn't do it. When the locke screen came on I went to unlock it and the screen went black quick then came back on normally. It hasn't done it since

It was after the optimization was finished. It happened on the lock screen. It just went black quick then came back on

Could be the lock screen I wouldn't worry too much on it

Okay. This was the first time it's done it so I was just a little freaked out about it. Can't afford to get a new phone and still paying this one off

As long as you get the uodate applied ok after monthly and the app optimization all good the Google sevices has just the optimization also goto settings than Google services folder tap that than at top all services on right than down to system services and get those updated

Okay. I always make sure my phone is updated so I don't run into any issues. I use my phone for my job so if it goes I'm **bleep**. Its how I get my orders for the week and the locations I need to go to

I did mine and it's now lagging. It got stuck and glitching. Don't know how to fix it.

Update y'all. I fixed the problem. I removed the block behind my icon, just kept at it and of course AI, she's amazing.
