Contacts won't allow me to set "Outlook" as the default contact storage

I have had a Galaxy Note 8 for about 9 years, very sadly apps are now becoming a problem so I have been forced to upgrade it to a S25 Ultra.

In the contacts app on the note 8 you can tap the three little lines to the top left, select manage contacts from the context menu that appears and then  select a default storage location, in my case "Outlook(myname@mydomain.com)"

On the S25 this functionality seems to have disappeared? If I go into the contact app, there are no three little lines, but if I enter the settings page I can select Contacts Settings -> Default Storage Location. If I tap that I can select from the already registered accounts or I can add another. When I try to add Outlook it says... "This email is already connected with Microsoft 365. Do you want to connect it again with another service?"

From here, no matter what I do it will not allow me to set Outlook as the default contact storage location.

Very frustrating, please help.

Ok then, please disregard the above as I have figured it out.

For anyone else suffering from the same issue, Open Outlook, go to settings , Contacts, Sync Contacts and make sure you have your Outlook account toggled to on. Hey Presto the option to select Outlook as the default storage location will appear in the contacts app.

Doh!

Sorry
