Does anybody knows how to scan document as a pdf file on samsung phone?for some reason anytime i scan document,it shows as a photo in gallery instead of a pdf file.I don't know what samsung did or since when they changed it but it wasn't like that before. The main reason to scan a document is to get it as a pdf file so i don't know why it shows as a regular photo.I have to use my iphone when I'm scanning document now

@userrJorhIn2Gl What you are seeing is normal. To get a PDF you need to import it into Samsung Notes and export as a PDF.

You can scan docs directly in Samsung Notes instead of importing.

After scanning:
3 dots, top right > save file > select desired format/file type > select destination1770435935277.jpg1770436225079.jpg1770436225109.jpg

There are plenty of 3rd party PDF scanner apps out there.

I was never aware of a native PDF scanning feature on Samsung devices. If it was there at one time and is no longer available, there are plenty of other options out there. You can choose to avail yourself of them or not. Good luck.

EDIT: Apparently, Samsung Notes is the native PDF scanning method. Have at it.
