Screen not responding to certain Google apps?

Every since the last past three updates my screen has not been responding to certain Google apps it's annoying

I'm having the same issue & I hate the change from Samsung messages to Google messages

Have you attempted to boot your phone in Safe Mode to see if your screen stops responding in this mode? *Note: Safe Mode does disable all third-party apps, including all of your Google apps. This will help determine if something is going on with the screen itself, or it's the Google apps is the cause.
