Galaxy S25The last 3 software updates on my S25 Ultra forget Do-Not_Disturb Exceptions. I have had to reenter contacts whose calls should go through when Do Not Disturb is on every time there is a Firmware updated for the past 3 or 4 updates.

Galaxy S25I've actually been dealing with this for 3 yrs now. Started about a year after I got my S22+, then upgraded to S25 Ultra, and still have the same issue. I was really hoping it would be resolved by now but obviously, it's not. I'm over it... What's that saying? Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me . We pay a premium for these phones, this should not happen. I won't make the same mistake again on my next phone purchase.

Galaxy S25I, and millions of others, do not have a problem with the DND exception settings. This is not a widespread issue. If you upgraded to the S25 ultra and moved your settings over via Smart Switch, whatever error in your settings or configuration causing this issue probably transferred over. Have you ever actually put in an error report for the issue?

Galaxy S25Yes, I have "actually put in an error report". They were not able to determine the issue and told me I would have to send it in for them to inspect, at my cost. That's not really an option since I don't have spare phone.
This is a common enough issue that a quick Google search returns a number of people with the same issue, going back to the S22 (maybe earlier), to current S25. Regardless, if this was transferred over from my previous phone or not, they should have a better log capture system in place then they do now, to diagnose this issue.
And, if I wanted to wipe and start fresh. What am I supposed to do, add one app or change one setting, then wait 1-7 days to see if it happens? If it doesn't, then do it all over again? At that rate, it would take years to find the issue!

Galaxy S25"a quick Google search returns a number of people" How many? There are millions of devices out there, even 100s of complaints is not significant. Over what period of time? Were any of them solved?
You can try creating a new Do Not Disturb mode, by going to modes and routines, creating a new mode, adding do not disturb as an action and configuring the dnd parameters. Since each instance of do not disturb is separate and distinct from each other, you can have several different modes with different dnd settings.
I know you would probably prefer just to have the global dnd work properly, but the fact is that you haven't been able to do that. It's easy enough to turn on the mode by either putting the single mode widget on your screen or tapping the mode icon in the quick panel. You can even add other actions to add circumstances where the mode would activate automatically.
