In the App: Notes, numbers are automatically converted into links.
For example: 1.5 or 3-5 or 3 - 5 and so on. (Why is this considered a link?)
The setting "Turn off Show links in notes" isn't a solution, as it disables everything, including text that is actually a link. I want numbers to appear when I write numbers and links when I write a link (https:... or www....)
It is the nature of some apps to treat numbers as links (either phone numbers, short codes or, in the case of decimals, IP addresses). You will find that many apps (especially note type apps) do this. In the settings for Notes, though, you can turn off "show links in notes", but then you will not get any hyperlinks and any links you add will have to be copy and pasted into a browser. Or, you can just avoid tapping the number link. Tap the line menu on the top left, tap the settings gear and go to "advanced" and slide the button off.
This phone is basically a mini computer, are you saying it's not not smart to recognize the difference when a number is followed by a foot/inch symbol of that Samsung doesn't see this as aneed?
