Cannot setup phone without sim

Hi,
I'd like to do some initial data transfer and setup before i move the sim card over, how can i skip the sim setup step when doing the initial setup on a new S26 Ultra device

I only have 2 options on the screen during setup:
1. transfer from another android
2. Scan QR code

dang it mine doesn't, maybe it's a regions thing. I will tell the canada support this and see what they say

I don't know if it's a regional thing. I'm in the US and don't have a skip option. I found your post because I'm having the exact same issue.

Try a factory reset before continuing with setup.

Any luck, im have the same issue and currently dont have a sim available to set it up SMH

If anyone else has this problem. The solution is to hold volume down for 30 seconds... it will say no sim unlocked and your good to go

• on initial screen where you see "Start"
• starting from top left corner of screen tap each corners of the screen top left, top right, lower right, lower left ... 3 times the circle
• then hold volume down ~5~10 secondes
• et voilà: noSIm unlocked
