Galaxy S26
An option to use camera in Samsung Health to understand and recognize the food in my plate and record an estimate as to what my food consists of. Can use AI to help the process in recognizing the type of foods. After it scans, and comes up with what it thinks the foods are, we can adjust to add things it might have missed, or remove things we definitely know aren't in there.

Time consuming to account for every ingredient in a meal that doesn't have a barcode. Less recording of food
It is painful to have to search for everything that doesn't have a barcode and I just give up on recording food because of that. With this new method I can just scan, adjust, and go.
Adding an option to scan food with AI

I agree, it's time consuming. Thanks for sharing your "scan, adjust, and go" method!

This is a suggestion. I'm hoping they actually put this in Samsung Health โค

I agree. I've used other meal tracking apps that do exactly this. I think it should be included in the Health app. I'd even be willing to spend a buck or two a month for this feature. And another that would allow you to change the unit of measurement you're recording the food under. I don't know what everything is in grams.
