Any opinions or suggestions regarding Advanced Protection and Account Protection settings within Google's Advanced Protection section of the settings? I'm trying to figure out if it's a good thing for security, or if it's a negative thing as in battery draining and privacy invasion (as if Google allows for privacy with all their hidden settings) Just looking for a little input. Thank you.

I think that may be designed more for people with other Android devices that are not Samsung and don't have native security. For Samsung users, If you have app protection on, your apps are protected. The rest of your phone is protected by Knox, so turning this on would be redundant, so choose one or the other. I don't know if using both would cause conflicts the way installing multiple anti malware apps have done in the past. It's easy enough to turn off if you dont like it or it causes issues. It also looks as if it will change your phone app to phone by Google, which is not a bad thing - you might like it.

I appreciate the input. I did an AI inquiry and supposedly it's an extra level of security for your device, WiFi and also is supposed to protect your Google account, with minimal impact on battery life. I didn't notice any changes in my default dialer as it's still the stock dialer that came pre installed.

I have no opinion on the Google advanced protection either way but don't think its needed much
