Galaxy S26Hello @DeniseL62, Thank you for reaching out to the Community. We have listed some steps below that may help you with getting the notifications.
I hope that you are able to get the issue resolved. Please feel free to reach back out to Community if you need any further assistance.
Check notifications by opening Android Auto on your car screen, go to Settings, and ensure "Show message notifications" is enabled.
2. Clear the App Cache by going to Settings > Apps > Android Auto > Storage, then select "Clear cache" and "Clear data" to reset the app.
3. Check App Permissions by going to Settings > Apps > Android Auto > Permissions and ensure all permissions, especially SMS, contacts, and phone, are allowed.
4. Restart & Update: Restart your phone and check for software updates (Settings > Software update).
You also want to make sure that your phone is not in battery saver mode, and also in the Android Auto app on your phone, set "Start Android Auto automatically" to "Always".
I hope this information helps you!
