Galaxy S26Sounds like your issue is with the Ford sync. Perhaps you should contact Ford. Maybe they did not update their head unit software - maybe they consider a c. 2019 model not worthy of a software update.

Galaxy S26So your phone won't connect to your car via BT at all? The car's BT connection and Android Auto are two separate functions. Most cars, circa 2000 have a physical USB port that activates Android Auto (which does not have to be used, it's just in standby til you turn it on). If you need to keep your phone powered while driving, you should use a charging plug in what used to be the cigarette lighter port (now called the auxiliary port), or use the USB port that is not dedicated to AA. Incidentally, you do not have to have your phone connected to BT to use AA, unless you plan on using AA via BT (not all cars have this functionality). You should be able to connect your phone via BT irrespective of any AA usage. Have you tried connecting to the car's BT while the phone is in safe mode? Safe mode only loads Samsung/Google apps and network connectivity. If you have no issues in safe mode, something third party is causing the issue.
Have you tried having your car and phone "forget" the pairing and the tried to re-pair it, or tried resetting either the wi-fi and BT connections or the phone itself (last resort if nothing else works)?
