No leaps and bounds. If you're going to make an update especially when it comes to changing basic functions, make it more subtle. If I wanted an apple I would buy one. Now with all the changes to the OS it's made the phone almost unusable. Now it will take months to get use to. I hate it. Bring everything back on the new update.

Can't please anyone around here. If the updates don't change very much, people complain. If an update changes things too much, people complain. If the updates take too long to come down, people complain. If the uodates come fast and regularly, people complain it was rushed.

Have you actually ever seen an Apple phone, other than in photos? Samsung phones do not look or feel like Apple in any way.

They've changed the actual basic functions. There is no bottom bar to close tabs, now everything is swiping. Seems like a basic function that can be utilized easier but when you are use to using the system a certain way, ie, if you swipe the in picture view on YouTube when it close to the edge of the screen now you go back on the page you are viewing. Also, by the way, have you seen the update. You lr comment is very "BOT" like.

You should be posting 8n the beta forum with specifics if you are in the beta. It is my understanding gestures will be the default navigation, however, I also understand there's a setting to use the navigation bar - either by using NavStar or in the motions and gestures setting of your phone. Posting in the proper forum will get you the proper answers, and will also reach the POB @ Samsung. You shouldn't have joined the beta if you are averse to change.

If you're referring to One UI 8.5 (based on having posted in the S26 forum), it was always going to be an incremental update. It's still based on Android 16, like One UI 8. The difference is it's the first One UI .x update to be based on an Android QPR (specifically, Android 16 QPR 3).

You haven't specified anything about what's so horribly different, other than the fact that you hate it. None of the basic functions have been changed from One UI 8. If you're referring to aesthetics, get over it. Aesthetics are always being changed, regardless of Android OEM. None of that will be reverted.

"Now it will take months to get use to." I highly doubt that. If you'd like to specify what you find so objectionable, maybe people would be willing to help you.
