Ring tone

I have a custom ring tone set on my Galaxy S26+. When it rings the ring tone reverts back to a samsung ring tone. How can I fix this to ring with my custom ring tone

Ensure that it is a acceptable format. (mp3 is the most common).

Not certain how I did it. But it is working now. When the phone rings the custom tone rings.

If you downloaded a ringtone from someplace like Zedge, for instance, you will have to find your ringtone and move it into the ringtone folder. I had to do that after the last update. I did not realize the zedge sounds landed in their own folder, not the ringtone folder. Once I moved them, all my custom assignments came back.
