Does anyone have any tips or info on why this keeps happening? Whenever I follow the steps my tv never appears on my screen mirror in settings (Samsung's official) even though it has before, no settings changed on my TV or my phone and it just stopped letting me screen mirror

Hello Annikaz, welcome to the Samsung Community! I understand your concerns with your TV not showing up on your device for screen mirroring. There are a few troubleshooting steps that we can try to get your TV back connected for screen mirroring:

First ensure that your TV and your device are both connected to the same network.

Verify that your TV and your device software are both up to date. 

Reboot both devices 

Open Quick Settings on your device and tap Smart View, then find your TV and if your TV require permission select Allow. 

If you are still having issues I recommend performing a factory data reset on your device, please be sure to back up your device before performing the reset: 

Perform a factory reset on your Galaxy phone or tablet

Are you sure you are on the input that allows casting? The TV has to be on the right input before you turn on snart view.
