Not sure if this should've been in the Galaxy Note phones forum/group but please don't crucify me lol. With double clicking the side/lock button I've been able to set Google Wallet to open on my S24U (UI 8.0) & FL7 (8.5 Beta). Just got a S26U and Google Wallet is the ONLY greyed out app as an option. WHY? Is this a "thing"?
I've cleared cache, storage, completely uninstalled & reinstalled, signed out & back into my accounts (figuring it may have been a verification issue), freshly re-added cards & still nada. Anybody else experiencing this?

Do you use navigation bar or gestures?  You can make a routine to double tap one of the buttons on the nav bar to open the wallet.  If you use gestures, you can program the  volume up key (or the side button) to open the wallet on a double press.  This requires you to download Good Lock and the Routines+ module to add the button action to routines.  When I did it, the side button was not prohibited from opening the wallet, but if it happens for you, try one of the other button options.

I don't know why that app is specifically excluded from the side button.  I know that they reserved the options in favor of a dedicated selection of actions. Back tap does not get enough love.

You can download Good Lock and the RegiStar module and turn on the back tap action to open the wallet app.  You would then double or triple tap (whichever option you chose) on the back center of your phone to open the wallet.

I would've done that but I plan on getting a semi bulky case so don't wanna wear my finger bones out ๐Ÿ˜‚ I'll just use apple pay on my iPhone until they come to their senses and allow it

Go ahead. Modes and routines are meant to be shared. Not enough people take advantage of routines.
