Within the past few months the buttons on the side of my phone randomly stop being assigned to the media control when I am watching a video or listening to something on any audio app. I've also started to have an issue where YouTube and Instagram videos will play their audio on the phone speaker setting instead of the normal speaker setting. The only way to resolve this is usually force closing the app. The driving are what they should be for media control, I troubleshoot technology for my job and have been using Galaxy phones for over a decade.
