I was ooking forward to a slight upgrade from my watch 8. I got it today and everything was great until I wanted to charge it. Unlike before where I could plug the puck into any c port and it would charge, I know can only use the puck it came with AND it has to be plugged into a charging brick. Very inconvenient as the cord is so short I have to lay it on the floor. It says the watch 8 puck is supposed to work and it doesn't. Neither do the other pucks I had that worked with my watch 8. Not a happy camper right now.

I am very frustrated with this as well. The cord is too short so I have to set it on the floor. I can't use my laptop anymore to charge it either.

You can buy a USB extension cord, just make sure it meets the power requirements.

Because it has different power requirements. Did it not come with its own charging puck?

It came with the puck but the cord is only 3.3ft. My plug in is too far away from my night stand. How do I tell if it meet requirements?

You'd likely be safe with any cord rated at 25 watts or higher.
