Why are there ads in the Health app?

I understand Samsung is in the business of selling electronic devices, do I want to see an ad in the Health app to purchase devices, NO!

I paid a lot of money for my S26U and Watch Ultra 2, please rethink this practice of advertising your products in an app that is for Health purposes only! It's infuriating that Samsung would have ads for their products in the Health app!

A $700 watch and $1400 phone, I shouldn't see ads to spend more. It might time to switch to my Pixel watch.

I agree! There shouldn't be ads in the health app period! I personally don't use the app, but she does at times and she always complains about the ads.

Of all the phone brands I've owned, Samsung's on-device upselling is by far the most aggressive. Add it to the list of minor irritations piling up and pushing users elsewhere.

Maybe there is some kind of cultural disconnect where aggressive, untargeted blanket ads aren't seen as distasteful, idk. But it is more than a little tone-deaf, to be sure.

Make medical devices that is why they would advertise on health. There phones run heart pace makers and other medical equipment
