Anyone out there know of a classa action case for the suppose user damage to the inner screen?

Mine broke while I watching a video and after filing a warranty claim, I took it to a UFixIt store and the guy said it was not covered and if he had a dollar for every time someone came in with this issue, he would be rich. My phone is still under warranty and this is defibately a Samsung problem. I have been a Samsung customer for almost 20 years and it would be sad that I will have to switch my WHOLE family to Apple over bad customer Service.

Anyone have any ideas?

My z flip 5 had warranty repair when the inner screen broke by itself there was a small black dot for a while they didn't repair it because they said it didn't happen by itself it is broken by you i explain this dot was there before but the whole screen broke from heange the didn't listen. Every fold phone inner screen is fragile that is why burly survives a year

It sad that they won't stand behind their own product. This would be Like the 10th Samsung phone I had and it maybe my last.

First and foremost I want to apologize for your inconvenience and the loss or usage of your phone. But warranty is limited for a reason. I believe on top of Warranty you should always purchase insurance that comes with it especially for a phone over a thousand dollars, Warranty doesn't offer certain fixes. It's the same thing with automobiles, no proper insurance no fixes. So always offset for insurance that's why it exist in the first place. Also you can file a class action suite in small claims court, but they will always ask you if you had insurance or not. By then you will probably lose your case.

First of all I do have insurance and will get it fixed at my expense but to make a 2k phone what is lasting only a year, is taking advantage of consumers. That's like making a car that lasts only 35k miles, and then saying its not covered and we hope you purchased the extended warranty to have it covered. All the while you still have the factory warranty. This is clearly a manufacturer defect.

Then isnurance should cover you for it ... why do you have to pay out of pocket for it ? They do make cars that last only a certain amount before they used to last 500k then 450k now 350 k... nothing is forever. Either get it fixed through insurance or don't. If you have insurance you wouldn't be complaining because its the same at appl. I have been an apple user for decades its the same issues even though apple is more superior and durable things happen.

It is a flaw in the screen design that they refuse to accept and won't let you use ins to cover it's repair always claiming it's customers fault on thousands of phones doing same thing over and over. They know of the screens flaw but don't have an idea of how to fix the issue which in turn would prevent them from making future phones with the same defect if they admit there is a problem. So they just keep blaming the customer and using the flawed screen design at our expense.

Now I dont disagree that the manufacture defect is an issue. I make it a point to read each and every single warranty pamphlet or insurance paperwork I get. Especially since phones cost so much now a days. I also, sell insurance for a living. If you got insurance and extended warranty you would be fine. Warranty for most products now a days only last a year and on vehicles 5 years but goes out of Warranty sooner because mileage takes it away faster. Happening now with my 2022 Chevy. It's the same. I just now bought the Zfold 8, so just like you im doing my due diligence. If you feel that insurance should cover it then get an attorney to look at it and see what they can do for you.

What happened to the screen, though? What do you have grounds too say that it was a device? Error? I'm not calling you wrong. I'm just curious

The reason I ask is there's an issue with firefox. Onroids right now and it's affecting the screen. It might actually not be samsung??
