LED and OLED TVsI have a 50" Samsung TV. I searched for the Directv Stream app and downloaded it. It shows "Install" on the screen. I click on Install and it changes to "Cancel" if I want to cancel. I wait about 30 seconds or so and it goes right back to "Install". For some reason I can not get it to actually install the app.
I have updated the Samsung TV to the latest software.

LED and OLED TVsHello! Thank you for reaching out! If the factory reset doesn't help then this could be a compatibility issue, as depending the age of the TV, the app could not work properly with the TV. I would recommend to also reach out to DirectTV for more support with the app.
