We have 2 of these models, purchased together back in 2018. Both are exhibiting this same washed out picture with both streaming(see video) and HDMI inputs 1 & 2(Appletv pictured). There are no available updates. I was able to correct this with a reboot(remove power), however it does occur sporadically. I did not perform a factory reset.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Hello @HarleyDaisy, thank you for reaching out to the Community. We understand how frustrating it is when you are having display issues. I see that you have reset the TV. Here are a few other things that you can try, first you can turn off the Contrast Enhancer this feature can over brighten the screen making the video look gray. Secondly you can try switching the picture mode to movie or standard which will allow for more natural color depth. Also try setting the color space to auto instead of native. Many users have found that disabling HDR on their console or streaming device actually results in a much better picture. You can check for any possible firmware updates, and if all else fails you can do a factory reset. This link https://www.samsung.com/ae/support/tv-audio-video/how-to-fix-strange-colors-ghosting-or-blurry-pictu... may also assist you.
If you are still experiencing issues after the factory reset has been performed, service would be the next recommended step. You can reach out to 1-800-Samsung (1-800-726-7864) or one of our moderators here within community to get the service set up.

It looks like you have color inverter on for the apple tv box and or the Samsung tv, if that is what you are talking about you can disable that in the settings of the apple tv box settings and the Samsung tv settings. I don't know where in the settings as I have owned neither.
