Are you aware that Google Messages has really good spam filters ?

That is the reason I switched from Samsung Messages to Google Messages years back. So much better.

It is so much better, especially during primary season in NYC, hundreds of texts from candidates campaigns never made it into my inbox. In one day I got 25! Never saw any of them.

I can't even imagine all the political texts you'd receive in NYC. 😲 My spam folder is full of them. As you said, never had to see any of them.

After all the T-Mobile data breaches, I was getting flooded with trash. Junk group texts with several people attached. Unfortunately, instead of just ignoring the messages, many recipients replied with things like, 'who is this', ' unsubscribe' 'I'm reporting you'! It went on & on for months. I would report it to T-Mobile, but that was futile. ☹️
I switched to Google Messages & the text traffic went back to normal. The spam blocking on Google Messages is phenomenal. I liked Samsung Messages, but Google Messages saved my sanity!

(Just for the record, my Husband also switchrd to Google Messages for the same reason.)
