While I agree with most of what you have said it should be natively done like you can on a Pixels. I don't know why Samsung has disabled this feature that was built-in to Android 12 to theme all apps in Wallpaper and Styles when you toggle on Apply Palette to icons all icons are not themed.
I get Samsung has many devices to code for, disabling a core function of what is baked into the OS should't be one of them
I don't mind not having Dynamic support because I always keep my phone in Dark Mode, I don't want to have to use Light Mode to keep my icons also Light. This is one of things I absolutely hate on my Pixel.
I mostly use Nova Launcher on my Pixel because I don't like using a dock, I don't need a dock on my 2
screens with the Google search bar on both of them.

This is what would happen with Dynamic icons, and why I prefer icon packs. These are 2 different icon packs with opposite themes. Dynamic I would have to have the white one in light mode, dark one in dark mode.
