If they are going to put these absurd floating bars in every app, at least let me move them out of my way.

i love them, they look so cool when you use swipe navigation and hide the gesture hint

Didn't say I hated them, I just want to be able to move them out of my way.

I don't understand how they are in your way?

The bar covers up the text at the bottom of the screen, especially the last bit when there is nothing more below it and  you cannot scroll anymore - very much the same way people were complaining about the navigation bar no longer retracting in some instances.

As I said, it is designed to be used with gestures now, not buttons. When you scroll, the floating buttons disappear; all you get is the arrow to go to the top. It works as it should if you are using gestures. There are two screenshots: one showing how it appears upon opening, and the other showing it when scrolling.

I suggest sending feedback for them to have a setting for the button folks.

For me its perfect!

Esit: even the comment bar disappears in a long thread that you are scrolling, when you stop scrolling the comment bar appears.1785095655276.jpg1785095655290.jpg

I would still like the option to move it out of the way.  I just don't like it there, regardless of which navigation method I am using.

Yeah, what's really weird is the S10 Lite, which gets no more updates also gets those changes (for some of the Samsung apps, anyway) so it's an app by app basis, not a OneUI thing.

They really aren't in the way, just a different way to look at them. Does it cover the text when you stop, yes, but I am looking up from where I stop, not down, where it covers what's right below it.
