Samsung Apps and Services
Something I've noticed for about two years now is that some apps, when receiving a notification while the phone is on standby, will turn on the screen. A few apps that do this are Samsung Messages, Galaxy Store, and even the Little Caesars app, of all things. I am simply asking if I am the only one who has noticed it, or if I am just going crazy.
If I'm not the only one and others have noticed it, do you happen to know of a way to stop them all from turning on the screen? I first noticed it on my S23 Ultra two years ago, and when I upgraded to the S26 Ultra, I was hoping it would either be addressed or have a setting for it, but I haven't found any, nor any articles about it online.
I appreciate all of you who take the time to read my post and help me out if possible.

To stop notifications from turning on your S26 Ultra screen, you can disable the "Wake screen for notifications" feature in the settings. Navigate to Settings > Notifications > Lock screen notifications and customize when to show them, or toggle off smartpopups. Disabling "Show even while screen is off" within "Notification pop-up style" also stops the screen from waking.
