Read QR code in Gallery App (feature request)

Could we please make it possible to scan a picture of a QR code from the gallery app? Just a button or option that looks for a QR code in the image and then tries to read it? Not even automatic but something akin to Bixby vision that scans the image afterwards would be a very useful addition.

You're right that is a pretty good option. Thanks for pointing it out.

I still think it would be smart to add the feature to the gallery app directly. It would just be adding a button (could even be in the three dots menu) because the technology is already built into the phone.
