Texting App

I am now considering not purchasing a Samsung phone again with Samsung discontinuing it's texting app.  I am not wanting the Google app after seeing so many reviews of why people hate it.  I have an Ultra 25, but now that Samsung has just dropped it's texting app, which I love, with all of it's customization ability, I am upset!  Also with the Ultra's newest update, I can no longer have a customized font on the Samsung app emails either!!!  Why is Samsung eliminating all the customizations that make their Androids popular and loved?!!!  This has led me to the decision to get an iphone the next time I need a new phone, unless Samsung reverses their stupid decisions that make Samsung phones less customizable and attractive to their customers.  The features that people love about Samsung phones are being whittled away bit by bit, and driving Samsung aficionados away from their phones.  Disappointed that I have stuck with them for so long as a loyal customer, Samsung you have finally driven me away after a couple of decades of loyalty!  So sad!

Google messages is great ! Plus there are many other messaging apps on the play store to download

Ive never enjoyed the samsung texting app. I know Google Messages isn't for everyone, but dont disregard it until you give it a chance for a good few months. As for customization, you have an Android! Of course you can still make it your own due to the open source apps available to android and not iPhone

So, how are you going to get customization with an iPhone?  They have none.  They are like the little boxes that all look just the same.  I think the most customization you can get on an iPhone would be to move the icons around, and I'm not even sure about that.

No, they're not gonna reverse their decision.But since they made the decision, if you paid attention, there has been seen in the google coding that google is ramping up is customization.Allowing photo backgrounds and everything so that is expected to be updated soon
