I took my micro sd card out of my tablet, which has worked perfeperfectly for ages, and put it in my laptop, which I do quite often. I transferred a folded of pictures, which I scanned, onto the card. I put the card back in my tablet, and now it wont read it. I ejected it and replaced it multiple times, I restarted the tablet multiple times, I powered down, all with no change. I took the card out and put it in my tablet, all reads fine. I put the card in my Samsung phone, it reads it fine. I put the card back in the computer and removed the folder from it , still wont read it. I put the card from my phone into the tablet, wont read it either. Does anyone have any ideas?

Not sure I followed all your back and forth but what I would do is put it in the laptop and right click on it and go to properties  Then from the tools tab scan and repair it.

Something was likely open when you removed the card without safely ejecting or unmounting it and the scan should fix that.

Had to look up been a long time but to unmount go to Device Care>Storage> you will see internal storage so swip right to left to get SD Card Storage then on upper right hit the three dots and you can unmount SD Card safely....there is a program you can buy that may be able to read the SD Card data...I would do a search on Youtube for a video on that...and not sure of cost of the computer software retrial program
