Every time I open the settings on my son's tabler,  it automatically closes and will not stay open.  what can I do to fix this?

we're sorry to hear about the issue you're experiencing with the settings error and recommend trying the following:

- Ensure software is up-to-date

- Factory reset tablet

Steps: Settings>General Management>Reset>Factory Reset

- Verify if a 3rd party app is causing the issue by booting the device in Safe Mode
