How to transfer screen bookmark apps from an old tab S5e to a new tab S11 ultra.
The Samsung Smart Switch doesn't transfer the save Firefox book marks/apps/widgets or what ever they are called, I really need help to get these transferred there is over a hundred of them. I have been working, searching for how to get these sites transferred but have been unsuccessful.
Hey there, Members_AtaLUDw! Congrats on the new Tab S11 Ultra! I completely understand how frustrating it is to face losing over a hundred important home screen shortcuts and bookmarks.
Because home screen website shortcuts (PWA/web apps) are tied directly to the browser that created them, Smart Switch cannot transfer them over automatically.
How to Move Your Firefox Bookmarks
The quickest way to get all your sites over to the new tablet is to sync them through a Firefox Account:
1) On your Tab S5e: Open Firefox, go to Settings, and sign in or create a Firefox Account. Make sure "Bookmarks" and "History" are selected to sync.
2) On your Tab S11 Ultra: Install Firefox, open it, and sign into that same account. Your entire list of over a hundred bookmarks will appear in the browser within a few minutes.
