Tabletsi have a s8+ tablet. i store music and videos on the 1 tb micro sd card , however, whenever i add anything to the sd card it is not seen when installed into the tablet. there is a work around to this but its really a PITA. if i format the micro sd card then reload all the stuff on it along with whatever new i want to add, then, it is seen when installed into the tablet. i have to do this every time i want to add anything. my question is, is there a way to fix this?

Tabletsyour SD card probably a fake/defective product, i have 7 microSD at home, if there's a sign like yours which mean it's defective of you purchased a really fake product
or to ensure, you can use laptop with card reader slot, if the issue still persist even on laptop, then yes your microSD card is need to be replaced

TabletsThat sounds like a media indexing glitch, or worse, you might have a fake/counterfeit SD card that corrupts data as soon as it exceeds its real capacity. To fix this, use minitool partition wizard on a PC to test the card's actual health and file system integrity, or try a free app like media rescan to force the tablet to refresh.
