We all have that one Galaxy tip we rely on. Maybe it's a shortcut that saves you time, a feature you use everyday, or a setting you'd hate to lose. This week, we want you to share the Galaxy tips that genuinely have made a different in how you use and enjoy your device!

Here’s the Challenge:

Share one Galaxy tip you genuinely use and why it helps you!

  • Tell us what the tip is
  • Explain how it helps in real life
  • Add a photo of screenshot if it makes sense.

Not sure what to share, here’s some ideas!

  • A feature that Saves you time.
  • A setting that keeps you organized
  • A camera, battery, health, or productivity tip you use often.

Bonus

Your experience might be the tip someone else needed today!

Get familiar with modes and routines.  Routines automate a lot of processes seamlessly that would take multiple clicks to do when you need to do them (if you actually remember to do them).  Modes are a quick way to set certain actions on an on demand basis if you don't need those actions to take place at a set time or place (although, they too, can be automated). They can even help you return actions that were taken away  in an update.

Taking a screen shot is nearly impossible with the contortions you have to go through:  palm swipe - no go because one invariably swipes to a new screen or doesn't get the hang of it to actually get the shot.  Volume down + side button - awkward.  Back tap - acceptable, but you have to get the exact right spot, also awkward.  Button action routine - perfect.

Edit:  I forgot the mention edge panels. Edge panels are a great way to add more shortcuts when you run out of space on your favorites bar or don't want to clutter your screen with a bunch of widgets (stacked or not).

I made a post last year chock-full of tips and tricks, I even posted in the EU community with a link to my post when we went from Ui6.1 to 7. It still is pertinent today, because I still continue to update that post.

Split Screen + Pop-Up View

I edit Reels while replying to messages at the same time. Just swipe up with two fingers → multitasking magic.

My Top 3 Galaxy Tips I Actually Use Every Day

Smart Widgets Stack

I stack multiple widgets (Weather, Calendar, Reminders) on the same spot on my home screen. A quick swipe lets me see everything I need without cluttering my phone. Perfect for planning my day in seconds!

2 Bixby Routines for Power Saving

I set a routine that automatically turns on Dark Mode, Wi-Fi, and Do Not Disturb when I go to bed. My phone saves battery, I sleep without notifications, and wake up ready to go. Routines for work or workouts are super handy too!

3 Camera Quick Launch from Fingerprint Sensor

I double-press the fingerprint sensor to open the camera instantly-even from a locked screen. No more fumbling for the camera icon when a quick shot pops up. A lifesaver for pets, kids, or spontaneous moments!1769539253006.jpg

Ive learned to love some of the "gestures", swiping the screen inward from the edge will take you back to your previous screen with each swipe. Just a little thing I know but super handy when youre in a hurry and need to get back to what you were just doing or in case you lose something.
