So I know BTS concerts are coming to California in September! While I'm planning to go I thought it would be a good idea to share tips I learned as a destined concert goer with a Galaxy device in hand at all times.
For anyone dealing with rapid battery drain and painful slow charging on your S26 you should run a quick diagnostic check before assuming heating to the concert. How? Open the pre-installed Samsung Members app, head to the Support tab at the bottom, tap Phone diagnostics, and test both Battery status and Cable charging. If the diagnostic shows the battery health is "Normal", your drain is almost certainly a software issue! To check this go to Settings > Battery to look at your usage graph and spot any rogue background apps to put into Deep Sleep. This is crucial for life with limited access to charging stations and power supplies.
Also make sure you didn't accidentally toggle off Fast Charging under your charging settings like I did, and if your phone is stuck in a slow loop, open your dialer, enter *#90# (disable Auto Blocker first if it doesn't open), and select Battery Status Reset to recalibrate the system.
These are my concert life battery tips. My battery lasted all day during concerts like this one. Even with zoom at the highest settings for multiple sets!
