In a future update, other than black or white, can there be a way to make the Now Bar have different colors/a color palette to match the theme or aesthetic of the phone, or maybe even have a translucent blur?? In my opinion that would really help complete the overall theme of the phones.

My now bar is the color of my palette. I chose a palette based on my wallpaper colors. Go to wallpaper & style and turn on the color palette, then choose one of the four shade choices as your main colors. Your now bar will be the dominant dark color.
Sorry, can't help you there. I likely never noticed that the color of the bar was different on the lock screen because it doesn't bother me. I just want to see the timer - which is the only thing I have on my now bar besides the music, player and the now bar for the music player takes on the color theme of my player (I do not use the Samsung player). I think the now bar takes on the theme color of whatever app is active on it. But, I think you are right, they should allow you to choose the color you want on the now bar.
