ComputersAfter installing the latest BIOS update (Ver 10.0.0.0) on my Galaxy Book4 360 (NP750QGK-KG3US), Windows no longer recognizes the internal battery. I downloaded and installed them, the computer restarted, and everything worked fine. However, now when I try to turn the computer on again, the device is charging, the charge is on, and the green/red light is on, but the computer doesn't turn on. I'm holding down the power button, but it still won't turn on. There's no fan noise or heat. Only the green or red LED light comes on when charging. It won't turn on after shutting down. According to a technician, this latest faulty BIOS update is causing this problem. The battery percentage icon has disappeared from the taskbar tray, and system settings do not show any battery status.
I've tried resetting the BIOS, reinstalling battery drivers, and performing full shutdowns with static discharge — none of these resolved the issue. Technician removed the battery power cable. The computer can be turned on while plugged into the wall socket. The laptop powers on with the charger connected, but behaves as if no battery exists.
This appears to be a firmware-level bug introduced by the recent BIOS update, and I'd appreciate guidance on either rolling back the update or confirming if a fix is in development?
