Whenever I close or open the fold 6. And click bluetooth. There's a small delay like its acting like I put my phone in airplane mode even tho I didnt. I tried restarting the phone. And still the issue is here. The last thing I don't wanna do is reset bluetooth and wifi, sometimes when I close the phone or open it and click bluetooth it turns on right away. Have no issue delay with wifi toggle at all. Is this a sign of flex cable starting to break?

@JRbowling1997 Just curious... why are switching Bluetooth and and off frequently?

I think the delay is the system looking for the Bluetooth paired devices.

@JRbowling1997 I rarely turn Bluetooth off. But when I do and turn it back on, it pops up a list of paired devices. That takes a half second or so. So a pause, yes.

Hello, @JRbowling1997! Thanks for posting about this! We are glad you reached out, though we are sorry to hear you are experiencing this inconvenient Bluetooth response delay. It is entirely reasonable to worry about the internal flex cable when troubleshooting a foldable device, but because the issue is localized strictly to Bluetooth and occurs intermittently, it is highly likely a software conflict rather than a hardware failure.

Please try these targeted troubleshooting steps:

Clear System Cache:
Navigate to Settings > Apps > tap the Filter icon > enable Show system apps > select Bluetooth > Storage > Clear cache.

Isolate via Safe Mode: Power off the device, then hold Power + Volume Down. Release Power at the logo but continue holding Volume Down until the home screen appears to check if a third-party app is causing the lag.

Reset Network Configurations: If the delay persists, go to Settings > General management > Reset > Reset Wi-Fi and Bluetooth settings to clear out deeper system communication glitches.

Give these a try and let us know the results!
